ApparelThe club colours are maroon and white, which are incorporated in our caps and clothing. The wearing of club caps is compulsory by “penguins” at all pointscores and carnivals. This year’s registration includes an “Apparel Voucher” to assist parents with the purchase of Club swimming costumes, which are available from the Apparel shop. The Club encourages carnival competitors to wear club swimmers at carnivals to promote team spirit, and allow easy identification of our competitors. Sun safety is an important aspect of surf life saving training. Children and parents should apply sunscreen at all times. Everyone is encouraged to wear a hat, T- shirt or rash vest and avoid prolonged sun exposure. The Apparel shop is open from approximately 8.30am to 9.15am each Sunday and sells the following items at a low cost for both children and adults: Boys Swimmers Girls Swimmers Club Competition Caps Club Rash Vests Club Sun Hats The following items are available to purchase via order: Club T Shirts Club Board Shorts Club Hoodies Club Kaftans Other Accessories The apparel makes popular gifts for children.
