Membership

People wishing to join Wollongong City SLSC need to complete an application for membership form and sign a declaration form as required by Surf Life Saving Australia.

New members over the age of 18 are also required to complete a Prohibited Employment Declaration in accordance with the Child Protection (Prohibited Employment) Act 1998.

Membership Categories are as follows:

• Probationary
• Junior Activity Member (7-13 years)
• Cadet (13 -15 years)
• Active (15-18 years)
• Active (18 + years)
• Award Member
• Active Reserve
• Long Service
• Associate Member

Current Members can renew their membership by completing an application for renewal of membership form by signing a declaration form in accordance with Surf Life Saving Australiaís requirements. Application forms are available for both new and renewing members from the club registrar at the surf club AGM (annual general meeting), nominated club registration days, designated proficiency days or between 10am and 12pm each Sunday morning during the surf season.
